Welcome to the Red Maple Reading Club 2019-2020

On the sidebar you will find the list of Fiction Nominated Titles with blurbs, book covers and links to author websites and youtube book trailers!  The list for 2020 will be released by the OLA on October 15th!

Sign up in the LC today and attend our first club meeting on Wednesday October 16th, 2019. 

Stay tuned for the dates with your favorite teachers, who will read with us and share their responses at each lunch meeting.

Keep track of your reading on the tracking list in the LC.  Students who read 5/10 titles will be eligible to vote in the province wide election in April.  Those who read all 10 titles will earn an academic award in June!

Inviting Your Teacher to Read with Us!

Before Christmas Holidays:

• Give your assigned teacher the invitation to join the Red Maple Reading club.
• Give them a print copy of the book or show them how to get to the eBook on Overdrive.
• Take a photo of the teacher reading the book in an interesting and inspirational way!
• Send the photo to Ms. Murray to create advertising posters for the LC and the teacher's classroom door.

We have most of the titles in our eBook collection!

Today we will battle via Skype with Acadia Jr. High in Winnipeg to determine which of the following titles is the best book ever!

St. Joseph High School Red Maple Club members have nominated the following titles:
